Iran's 1st VP: Commissioning Nationwide Railway Project, Govtˈs Top Priority

Tehran, May 7, IRNA – Iran's 1st VP, Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, says full commissioning of the nationwide railway project and its connection to international railway network is the governmentˈs top priority for development of transit sector. Addressing a session to study South Hamedan Railway Project, Rahimi said the project would guarantee public comfort and welfare, while earning huge sum of money for the cargo transportation and transit sectors. He noted that thus far, 21 provinces have been connected to the nationwide railway network and 10 more provinces will be linked in the future as the government tries to provide necessary finances./end
