Iran's Red Crescent Expresses Sorrow By Members Disappearance In Libya

Tehran, Aug 1, IRNA – Iran Red Crescent (IRC) Public Relations expressed sorrow over disappearing of its seven members in Libya and called for prompt action of related organizations. In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, a copy of which was received by IRNA, IRC said upon received reports, unfortunately seven persons of Iran's Red Crescent Society who were in Libya on an official invitation of Libyan counterpart body, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on joint cooperation and developing bilateral cooperation, after signing the MoU last night were disappeared suspiciously in the city of Benghazi. In its statement, IRC urged Libyan government and its Red Crescent Society, International Committee of Red Cross, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies to promptly act to follow the issue./end
