Iraq condemns terror blast

Baghdad, July 29 (BNA): The Iraqi Foreign Ministry condemned the terrorist blast which happened yesterday in Sitra area, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In a press statement today, Iraqi Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Ahmed Jamal said that his country condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist explosion. The statement which was posted on the ministry’s website said that these criminal acts perpetrated by deviant groups represent the most dangerous challenge. The ministry urged countries in the region and the world to give top priority to this issue, stressing the need to exert all international efforts with the aim of elaborating an effective counter-terrorism strategy.
