BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - Iraq and South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation in the rehabilitation of the Iraqi-Korean vocational training center and capacity-building of Iraqi training teams. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mohamed Shiaa al-Sudani said during a meeting with a delegation from the Korean Agency for International Cooperation (KOICA) on Tuesday that the ministry gives priority to support the training and employment department, as the provision of job opportunities is one of the most important challenges facing the country to solve the unemployment problem. hoping that the signing of this memorandum would be the beginning to open wider horizons of joint cooperation between the two sides. He added that any step to develop training centers, programs and training curricula will certainly be at the service of the public interest and will reflect positively on the labor market, indicating that the government has a tendency to partner with international companies known to develop production lines in factories and factories in Iraq./ End
