Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Heads To The U.S

BAGHDAD / NINA / Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs, Saleh al-Mutlaq headed to the United States on an official visit lasting several days at the head of a delegation that included a number of officials and parliamentarians , among them MPs Izzat al-Shabandar and Nada al-Jubouri . A statement by Mutlaq's Office cited that: "The Deputy Prime Minister will deliver a speech at the Center for Strategic Studies of the Near East and South Asia , and will meet with American officials and members of Congress to discuss the political problems facing Iraq and focus on the situation in Anbar province, and the military campaign carried out by the security forces against terrorists in the desert of Anbar .
