Iraqi House Speaker Meets with Japanese Ambassador mark the end of his tenure

BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nujaifi met with the Japanese ambassador to Iraq to Masato Taka Luka mark the end of his tenure. Nujaifi, during the meeting with the Japanese ambassador, praised Japan's role in Iraq and the world , especially it is a peace-loving country and provides all means of assistance to the people in times of crises and ordeals . He added that " Japan is a friendly country and it has a distinct role in the reconstruction of Iraq and the bilateral relations between the two countries witnessed in recent times an important development in the areas of investment in Iraq." He continued , "We hope to see the bilateral relations between the two countries a planning strategic in the future based on the expansion of the areas of investment , especially that Iraq has a lot of wealth and a State likes Japan can take advantage of it."
