Iraqi media delegation meets Iran’s culture minister

TEHRAN,Dec.7(MNA) – An Iraqi media delegation paid visit to Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati on Thursday. Iraqi Journalist Syndicate Secretary General Moayed Al-Lami and National Iraqi News Agency Director Shafiq Al-Obeidi discussed the expansion of media and cultural cooperation between two countries during the meeting. “Occasional meetings are not efficient for becoming familiar with the Iranian civilization,” Jannati said during the meeting. He called on the Iraqi delegation to fix regular meetings. Speaking at the meeting, Al-Obeidi praised Iranian media capabilities and added, “We are ready to extend media cooperation with Iranians in near future.” The Iraqi delegation left Iran on Friday after a three-day visit.
