Iraqi minister hails Iran defense products as highly advanced

Tehran, Dec 31, IRNA – Following a visit to an exhibition of Iranˈs Defense capabilities on Tuesday, Iraqi Minister of Defence Khaled al-Obeidi said that Iranian defensive products are highly advanced and comparable with high-quality international products. Al-Obeidi, arrived in Tehran on Monday upon an official visit by his Iranian counterpart Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan. During his visit to the defensive exhibition of Tehran, the Iraqi minister became familiar with Iranˈs capability in developing missiles and individual weapons, as well as Iranian Armyˈs latest achievements in air, at sea and on land as well as the electronic and optical technology. Al-Obeidi is scheduled to meet with his Iranian counterpart later in the day and then the two ministers will hold a joint press conference. /end
