Iraqi PM in Tehran for bilateral talks

Tehran, April 6, IRNA – Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi heading a high-ranking delegation arrived in the Iranian capital on Saturday morning for a two-day visit. In Tehran, the Iraqi premier is to hold talks with top Iranian officials including President Hassan Rouhani on bilateral issues. He is also scheduled to visit the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (the eighth Shia Imam) in the city of Mashad, northeastern Iran. The Iraqi premier will also take part in the third Iran-Iraq economic commission. Abdul-Mahdi’s trip to Tehran is taking place at the invitation of President Rouhani. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
