Iraqi Prime Minister Vists Iran Tomorrow

BAGHDAD / NINA / Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is heading to Iran on Monday at a head of a ministerial delegation. The Information Office of the Prime Minister cited today in a press statement that Abadi's visit, which lasts one day, include meeting with Iranian officials within Abadi's efforts to unite the efforts of the region and the world to help Iraq in its war against the (IS) in addition to strengthening cooperation in many fields. The statement added that " Abadi will discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the fields of energy, housing and construction and other fields, indicating that al-Abadi seeks that " Iraq's relations with neighboring countries, especially the region and the international community in general to be distinct and based on mutual respect and common interests and non-interference in the internal affairs as well as respect Iraq's sovereignty and its territorial integrity. / End
