IRCS Ready To Send Aid To Quake-stricken Pakistan

Tehran, April 17, IRNA – Head of Iranˈs Red Crescent Society said here on Wednesday that his organization is fully ready to dispatch humanitarian aid to quake-stricken people in Pakistan. In his message, Abolhassan Faqih extended condolences to the Pakistani nation and government as well as victim families over the Tuesday strong quake in southeastern Iran which left a number of dead and wounded in the neighboring Pakistan. The Tuesday earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale shook the vicinity of Saravan in southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan. It left a number of dead and wounded in Pakistan and was felt in some other countries including India and UAE./end
