IRNA, Anatolia Sign MoU On News Exchange

Tehran, Jan 4, IRNA – Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Mohammad Khoddadi and Managing Director of Anatolia News Agency Kemal Ozturk here on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on news cooperation. The MoU was inked on the sideline of an official ceremony welcoming the visiting Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived in Tehran Tuesday evening on a two-day visit. The MoU calls for exchange of news, photos, films as well as setting up professional training courses and workshops for media persons. Erdogan, was officially welcomed by Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri at Tehranˈs Saˈadabad cultural and historical complex. The Turkish prime minister will meet President Hassan Rouhani after he concludes talks with Jahangiri. Erdoganˈs visit to Tehran takes place at the invitation of Jahangiri./end
