IRNA, Belta Chiefs Sign Co-op Pact In Minsk

Minsk, June 22, IRNA – Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Majid Omidi Shahraki and Head of Belarus News Agency (Belta) Dmitry Zhuk discussed bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between the two countriesˈ news agencies. During the meeting in Belarus capital of Minsk on Friday, Omidi Shahraki and Zhuk underlined the need for broadening of bilateral ties between IRNA and Belta news agencies. Omidi Shahraki and Zhuk signed a document for upgrading professional cooperation between IRNA and Belarus news agency. The managing directors of Iranian and Belarusian news agencies agreed to exchange news reports, photos and film as well as cooperation in the field of news marketing. Omidi Shahraki pointed to the measures taken by IRNA to increase and diversify the news products, and underlined that IRNA is ready to cooperate with Belta in the field of exchange of experiences and multimedia products./end
