Islamic World Students Organization To Launch Activities In Mashhad

Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi prov, Oct 8, IRNA – Islamic World Students Organization will officially start activities in Mashhad, Iran spiritual capital, concurrent with 13th Aban, National Day of Campaign against Global Arrogance. Talking to IRNA Sunday, the official in charge of the entity, Yasser Zarifi said that presiding board of University Jihad and High Council on Cultural Revolution have already approved the related articles of association. Mashhad will be seat of the central headquarters of the organization, he noted. The main objectives of the organization include introducing Islam to the international community, utilizing the capacities of Muslim students in the field, transferring Iran’s experience to other Muslim states and leading the capabilities of the students to promote Islamic and cultural values, Zarifi added. He further noted that the organization will encompass friendship scientific association and international relations association. It will also hold cyber, artistic, media, public participation and humanitarian workshops, he said./end
