Italy’s East Journal posts article on Baku 2015 first European Games

Rome, June 23, AZERTAC Italy’s East Journal internet magazine has issued an article on the first European Games held in Baku. Azerbaijan is able to host Olympic Games at high level, it said. The article highlights the organization of Baku-2015 as well as athletes competing in the Games. The article says that opening ceremony of the event was highly organized in the Olympic Stadium which has the capacity of 68 thousand spectators. The event featured the Azerbaijani history, culture, its national value - mugham, the great poet Nizami Ganjavi’s works, Yanardag, Gobustan rocks and other elements. The opening ceremony brought together heads of state and government of a number of European countries, the article says. Analyzing Azerbaijan’s hosting the first European Games, the author says that the country was the important candidate in terms of properly organizing the event and justify the expectations.
