Jaafari Meets US Ambassador To Baghdad

BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi foreign minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari discussed with the US ambassador in Iraq, Stuart Jones the most prominent political and security issues, and to strengthen relations between Iraq and the United States of America. A statement by the Information Office of Jaafari said the two sides discussed, during the meeting, the efforts of the international community to help Iraq in its war against terrorist gangs, and provide the necessary humanitarian assistance to the displaced. They also reviewed the successes achieved by the military forces and the popular Mobilization in clearing areas from terrorist cells. / End
