Jaafari To Saudi Ambassador: Iraq Refuses Statements Issued By Saudi Foreign Ministry And Its Embassy In Baghdad

BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari confirmed Iraq's categorical rejection to the statements issued by the foreign ministry of Saudi Arabia, as interference in Iraqi affairs. A statement by the Information Office of Jaafari said, "Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, during his meeting in Washington with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir and Saudi ambassador in Iraq, Thamir Sabhan on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the countries of the international coalition against terrorism, confirmed Iraq's categorical refusal to the statements issued by the foreign ministry of Saudi Arabia and its embassy in Iraq which represented an unacceptable interference in Iraqi affairs and an attempt to confuse.
