Jaafari: Saudi Arabia Nominated An Ambassador To Baghdad

BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said Saudi Arabia has nominated an ambassador to Baghdad. He said during a news conference with Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic today that he had been told, a few days before, Saudi Arabia nominated a figure to be an ambassador in Baghdad, adding that Iraq would respond positively to this nomination. He stressed that the reopening of the Saudi embassy in Baghdad is a reflection of the strategic relationship between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. He stressed that terrorism threatens all countries of the world, where targeted France, Canada, Saudi Arabia and other countries, noting that the world is moving to support the countries facing terrorism, militarily and humanly. / End
