Japan Denounces Suicide Attack at Istanbul Airport

Tokyo, June 29 (Jiji Press)--The Japanese government condemns the suicide terror attack at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport on Tuesday night that killed at least 36 people, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Koichi Haguida said Wednesday. "We stand in solidarity with the Turkish government and people," Hagiuda told a press conference. "Terrorism is unacceptable for any reason and must be firmly denounced." The government has received no reports of Japanese casualties, he said.
