Japan to Issue Multiple Visas to Visitors from UAE

Tokyo, Oct. 15 (Jiji Press)--Japan's Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that it will issue multiple-entry visas to visitors from the United Arab Emirates in a bid to boost the number of tourists and business travelers from the Middle Eastern nation. The visa will allow the holders to enter Japan as many times as they want during the validity period of three years. It will be the first time that Japan has issued multiple-entry visas to visitors from a Middle Eastern country. In May, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe informed UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of the multiple-entry visa issuance plan at a meeting in the UAE. END
