Japanese university student converts to Islam

TEHRAN, May 14 (MNA) –A Japanese university student has converted to Islam, and accepted the ‘Jafari Shia’ as her official faith in Qom. After extensive investigations, finally Miss Akiko Kurokawa converted to Islam in the presence of Qom-based Ayatollah Mousavi Ardabili, ‘Marj-e Taghlid’ (source of emulation for Shiites), and accepted the ‘Jafari Shia’ as her official religion. She expressed her joy of converting to Islam, and thanked Ayatollah Mousavi Ardabili for his time. She was very joyful and happy that she officially announced her choice in the presence of a ‘Marj-e Taghlid’. Akiko Kurokawa said: “I selected this religion after some research via the internet and the influence and guidance of one of my acquaintances who was also converted to Islam, before the Ayatollah Mousavi Ardabili 15 years ago. She said happily: “Islam is a pure religion, and I believe in it, I love Islam, I love God and I love to pray.”
