Jeenbekov extends condolences to Indonesian President over earthquake

Bishkek, Aug. 8, 2018 / Kabar /. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov expressed his condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over the numerous victims of earthquakes on the island of Lombok. "With deep sorrow, I received the news of earthquakes that occurred on the island of Lombok in the Republic of Indonesia, resulting in numerous human casualties and destruction. Expressing sincere sympathy and support to the families and friends of the deceased, I wish a speedy recovery to all the victims," Zheenbekov said in his condolence message. 7 magnitude earthquake occurred on the island of Lombok on Aug. 5. About 100 people became victims of the earthquake. The number of victims, according to local authorities, is likely to increase. 230 people were seriously injured.
