Jeenbekov takes part in opening of hospital in Talas

Bishkek, July 12, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov today took part in the opening of the hospital in Amanbaev village as part of a working visit to Talas oblast.

The head of state congratulated the villagers on the opening of a new hospital.

"2018 was declared the Year of Regional Development by my Decree. Our cultural, historical, spiritual basis is in the village. Thanks to the regions and a village, we preserve our national traditions, customs and language. Development of the country is possible only with the development of regions. Our duty is to provide appropriate conditions for human life in the regions. Our main demand is the preservation and strengthening of the nation's health, "Jeenbekov said.

He stressed that billions of dollars are annually allocated from the budget for the construction of health facilities, their restoration and repair.

The head of state inspected the two-story hospital, accompanied by Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbaev.

Jeenbekov at a meeting with the hospital staff noted that the work of doctors is difficult and underpaid. "Since 2011, wages have not been raised for doctors. Now we are considering the possibility of raising it," the president emphasized and handed over a certificate worth 300 thousand soms to the chief doctor of the hospital Altynbek Bokoev.

The head of state also talked with local residents who thanked the state and the president for the construction of the hospital.

The hospital in the village of Amanbaev, the total estimated cost of which is 65.6 million soms, began to be built in 2014. For today, construction and equipping with technical equipment have been completed, the facility is put into operation.

The hospital services will cover residents of 14 villages in the district.
