Joint Russian-Indian paratroopers exercises to be held in India in March - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. Russia and India will hold joint exercises of airborne troops in the coming months, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry told TASS on Tuesday. "The delegation of the Russian Airborne Troops has arrived in Pune (India), where it will take part in the third conference on holding the joint peacekeeping exercises scheduled for the first quarter of 2016," the Defense Ministry spokesman said. The joint exercises, which will include training sessions on humanitarian demining, are due to be held in March in India, he added. The delegation of the Russian Airborne Troops, which will conduct the talks, is led by chief of the engineering service Colonel Sergey Sukhovei. The delegation will stay in India until January 16.
