Justice Minister discusses with US official the electronic archiving project signed between Iraq and US

Baghdad (NINA) - Justice Minister, Hassan Al Shammari, discussed with ambassador, Michele Sison, assistant chairman of the American mission to help enforce the law, and her accompanying delegation, the Electronic Archiving project signed between Iraq and the US and the executed by the Turkish Habulsan company. A statement issued by the Ministry of Justice mentioned that "Shammari received the delegation and discussed issues related to this project which is one of the projects of modern technology to improve the work of the departments with direct contact with the lives of citizens and that shifts from old methods and routine processing to the computer system in all processes." it explained "the project that was a US grant of $4.2 million. The Ambassador asserted to provide additional $1.5 million for this grant, as an initiative to support and implement this project as soon as possible." the statement went on saying "Shammari praised the efforts of the US and its serious role to develop the work of the judicial departments of the Ministry of Justice, stressing the inclusion of several provinces, including (Kirkuk, Diyala, Anbar) within the project.” /End
