KAHRAMAA Launches New E-services

Doha, July 01 (QNA) - Within its endeavor to provide high quality services to ensure customer satisfaction, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) launched new online services on its website km.qa. KAHRAMAA announced that new 27 e-services were added to website. Total online services for customers, companies, consultant and contractors as well as site visitors are now 45. The new electronic services include Disconnection, Reconnection, Meter Demolition, Request for reading correction, Update customer from Qatari to regular and from regular to Qatari. Services for Consultants and Contractors include Registration, Materials Certificate Request, Trade License, and Service Connection. The new services are added to the reliable e-services including bill view and payment, service tracking, meter reading, certificates, and other business services of tenders, auctions, and awards, etc. Customers can view all e-services by visiting KAHRAMAA website km.qa, register or login, and avail of the wide range services. They are meant to transfer KAHRAMAA into smart corporation where all services can be completed with no need to visit KAHRAMAA or service centers. KAHRAMAA has also launched an electronic service for customer to get "to whom it may concern" certificate defining residence area as per electricity number to submit when applying for school. Companies can register at the site to buy tenders and submit documents online. The site provides other services including electricity and water tariff in QR by sector. Customers can also review and pay bills online. KAHRAMAA is working now to update its current website to improve services. (QNA)
