Katara Signs Agreement with Social and Sports Contribution Fund to Sponsor S'hail Expo

Doha, August 30 (QNA) - The Cultural Village Foundation Katara signed an agreement with the Social and Sports Contribution Fund to sponsor the 2nd edition of S'hail exhibition. This agreement was announced in a press conference held today by HE the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social and Sports Contribution Fund Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al-Thani and Katara General Manager Dr Khalid ben Ibrahim Al Sulaiti. On this occasion, Dr Al Sulaiti expressed his sincere gratitude to the Social and Sports Contribution Fund as the sole sponsor of the White Saker Sponsor category, for his believing in the importance of this exhibition in reviving our original heritage, in addition to its role in encouraging specialized Qatari companies and present their local products by opening new marketing windows that have a positive impact on the economic sector. He also added that the second edition witnessed a remarkable development, both in terms of the magnitude of Arab and international participation, which reached 150 companies from 19 countries, or in terms of the area allocated to the exhibition, which reached 10 thousand square meters. Deputy General Manager of the Social and Sports Contribution Fund Abdulrahman Abdulatif Al Manai declared that they decided to sponsor S'hail exhibition after the huge success realized in the 1st edition, and its influence to highlight one of the most important cultural features and most popular hobbies in Qatar, hunting & falcons breeding. He also mentioned that the sponsor of S'hail comes to achieve the vision of the Social and Sports Contribution Fund to revive the cultural Qatari heritage among the growing generation. The opening of S'hail exhibition will be in the Cultural Village Foundation Katara on 4th September and till 8th September. (QNA)
