Kazakh ambassador delivers credentials to Russian president

"We appreciate the open and confidential relations with Kazakhstan on the entire range of bilateral and international agenda." "We intend to intensify our cooperation with Astana in all areas set in the agreement on good-neighborliness and alliance in the 21st century between Russia and Kazakhstan," president Putin said. "Promoting the Eurasian integration processes and the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union, which will start operating from January 1, 2015, are in our common interests." The Russian president also accepted the credentials of ambassadors of some other countries. "We want your activity to be effective, to further promote a political dialogue and to increase the level of trade-economic, investment and cultural ties," Putin added.
