Kazakhstan-Hungary trade turnover announced as of eight months of 2014

Astana, Kazakhstan, Oct. 21 By Daniyar Mukhtarov – Trend: Kazakh Vice Minister of National Economy Timur Zhaksylykov met with Hungarian Deputy Minister of National Economy Antal Nicoletti, the Kazakh ministry said. "The sides discussed the trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hungary, as well as the prospects for collaboration and participation of Hungarian companies in the field of agriculture, transport, aviation, construction of facilities for Astana EXPO-2017 exhibition," the ministry said. "Hungary plays an important role in the Eastern European area of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy,” Zhaksylykov said. “The cooperation between the two countries is long-term." As of eight months, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Hungary amounted to $131.4 million (2.5 percent growth). The trade turnover hit $ 128.2 million in the last period.
