Kazakhstan sees rapid growth in number of small companies

Astana, Kazakhstan, Sept.21 By Daniyar Mukhtarov – Trend: The number of small companies is rapidly growing in Kazakhstan, Ranking.kz analytical service said. “Small enterprises have especially become active in the southern metropolis of Kazakhstan – Almaty. The number of active small companies increased by almost 1,500 and hit 19,700 as of July 2014,” the analytical service said. Around 20 percent of the total number of small companies operating in Kazakhstan, have been concentrated in Almaty, according to Ranking.kz. The analytical service said that the number of small companies increased by 2,700 and reached 99,500 in Kazakhstan during the reporting period.
