Khalifa Foundation hosts Iftar banquet, distributes food baskets in Togo

LOME, 5th July, 2015 (WAM) -- The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF) hosted a grand Iftar banquet at the Islamic Union Centre in Togo, which was also attended by the Egyptian and Libyan ambassadors besides others. Abdelmola Ahmed Alhuraishi President of the Islamic Union Centre said the banquet is part of Iftar meals project carried out by the Centre in cooperation with KF. KF has dispatched 5000 Iftar meals to be distributed in various locations across the country to the needy families and people with special needs. Abdelmola extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE's leadership, people and KF for this humanitarian gesture held for the third year in a row. KF has so far distributed 790 Iftar meals to the needy families and other beneficiaries.
