"King of Bahrain" Balloon begins European tour

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): "The King of Bahrain Balloon" has been launched by Emirati balloonists team during its second tour from Poland simultaneously with the launching of "Emirates Balloon" in expression of the huge appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the people of Bahrain on the part of Emirati youths, hailing His Majesty's efforts in boosting the Gulf development march and His Majesty's interaction and openness towards the peoples of the world. Balloonist and aviation captain Abdulaziz Nasser Al-Mansouri told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) the participation of "The King of Bahrain" Balloon" will include several destinations including the USA, China and Japan to showcase the Kingdom's accomplishments under the leadership and wise policy of His Majesty the King and the country's advancement, progress and prosperity and excellence in all fields. He said the team will launch the first of its kind international photographic show bearing the portrait of His Majesty and Bahrain's flag. The team will also showcase numerous international prizes it achieved during its global tours, as part of the Kingdom's National Day celebrations on December 16-17. All residents in Bahrain will have the opportunity to pause for commemorative snapshots besides the team of the balloon and their aviation gear and technical equipment.
