King's address at Arab Summit hailed

Manama, July 26 (BNA): Shura Council's Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh hailed the address of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa delivered by Deputy Prime Minister HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa at the 27th Arab Summit in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott. Al Saleh said the content of royal address reaffirmed the strong desire to develop joint Arab cooperation to surmount this complicated and difficult phase experienced by the region and to deter all forms of external interferences, extremism and terrorism, especially the stark Iranian meddling in Arab affairs, and to overcome the risks and challenges and to develop the mechanisms of Arab League to serve all Arab interests. He hailed His Majesty the King's assertions about the essentiality of upholding a firm united Arab stance and taking strong and urgent measures at all levels to dry up the sources of terrorism and its finances and to address the root-causes and conditions that led to its emergence, and tackling all forms of external interferences into our internal affairs, respecting the sovereignty and laws of Arab countries, prevention of exporting of violence and terrorism to other countries, and halting the hostile statements aimed at spreading chaos and sedition among peaceful peoples. The Shura Council's chairman also praised the Kingdom of Bahrain's firm stance in support of the Palestinian people, and restoring security and stability in Yemen. He also cited Bahrain's support of the right of the brethren in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Lebanon to enjoy secure, sovereign states capable of confronting all the challenges through the efforts of their citizens and the safety of their institutions from all forms of foreign interference in their internal affairs, wishing all joint Arab efforts to succeed in boosting the region's security and stability to achieve the aspirations and ambitions of all peoples.
