King's condition improves after being hospitalized yesterday

BANGKOK, Oct 4 (TNA) - His Majesty the King’s condition has improved on Saturday after he was admitted to Siriraj Hospital with high fever late Friday, according the first statement of the Royal Household Bureau. Doctors at Siriraj Hospital, providing treatment to His Majesty said that after medication had been administered intravenously to the King, his blood pressure remained constant and his fever dropped. His Majesty the King travelled to the hospital from Klai Kangwon Palace in the seaside resort town of Hua Hin late Friday. According to the initial diagnosis, there was a change in his blood pressure and the blood test result showed signs of infection. The statement said he would remain hospitalized for more examination with special equipment to determine the cause of the infection for further treatment. (TNA)
