Korean Exhibition Held in Iran

Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- A Korean book, photo and fine art exhibition took place in Teheran on July 2-7 to mark the 54th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the second anniversary of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's election as chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Iran. On display at its venue were photos showing the revolutionary careers of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the exploits of Kim Jong Un. There were also works of the peerlessly great men and books, photos and art pieces dealing with the reality of Juche Korea and wisdom and talents of its people. Present at the opening ceremony were personages of various strata of Iran and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Teheran and a delegation of the Korean Overseas Exhibition General Bureau. The participants laid a floral basket before a photo of the President. Then speeches were made. The director for Exhibition of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization of Iran hoped that the Korean people would achieve bigger success in building an economic power under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. The vice general secretary for International Affairs of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran expressed the belief that the exhibition would contribute to expanding the friendly relations and cultural exchange between the two countries. -0-
