Krabi remains vigilant after explosions in the South

KRABI, Aug 14 (TNA) - Hat Nopparat Thara National Park in the southern province of Krabi urged tourists not to leave their belongings unattended and to report to authorities if they find any suspicious object. The move came after seven provinces in the southern region hit by several explosions and fires, which killed four people and injured 35 others including foreign tourists. Local authorities of Hat Noppharat Thara - Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park set up warning signs, informing visitors both in Thai and English not to leave their belongings unattended otherwise it will be removed by officials. Sarayut Tan-thien, Chief of Hat Noppharat Thara - Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park said after series of attacks in seven southern provinces including Krabi, it was necessary to step up security measures for public safety especially in tourist attractions.
