Kuwait strongly condemns terrorist Houthi militia targeting civilian areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Kuwait, June 23, 2020, SPA -- The State of Kuwait has expressed its strong condemnation of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia targeting of civilians in residential areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by launching ballistic missiles and drones that the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen confronted before reaching their targets. An official source at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that these terrorist operations are a flagrant violation of all international norms and covenants and disrupt all efforts aimed at achieving peace as well as the threat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia security and safety and the stability of the region, which requires the international community to quickly assume its responsibilities to compel the Houthi terrorist militia to abide by the ceasefire declared by the coalition and to return to negotiations and to provide an opportunity to provide humanitarian assistance to confront COVID-19.
