Kyrgyz delegation to attend book forum and literature festival in Baku

Bishkek, March 11 (AzerTAc). A delegation led by Vice President of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Otunbayeva will attend the 2nd international book forum and literature festival on the 900th jubilee of Azerbaijani poetess Mahsati Ganjavi in Baku in May. The event is co-organized by the British companies Silk Road Media and Hertfordshire Press publishing house jointly with the Nizami Ganjavi International Center. The forum will bring together representatives of international, regional and local authors, governmental organizations, publishing houses, book selling organizations and readers. Aiming at concentrating attention on the development of literature and the book publishing industry in Azerbaijan and Central Asia, the festival will include book readings, presentations of forum participants` books, and master classes on poetry, prose, literary translation and speed-reading. The Azerbaijani delegation participated in the 1st Central Asia Book Forum and literature festival in Bishkek last year.
