"Kyrgyzstan pays much attention to development of relations with its major partner - Russia, including development of relations with its regions," the president said during a meeting with Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov. "Joining the Eurasian Economic Union would offer to our republic wider and deeper bilateral contacts in various spheres." Tatarstan’s president said about the importance of developing bilateral relations. "We can see many mutual interests," he said. The countries had agreed to establish an intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
