Kyrgyzstan calls for expansion of cooperation with Iran

Bishkek, May 7, IRNA - Deputy Kyrgyz Prime Minister Taiyrbek Sarpashev here on Tuesday in a meeting with Iranˈs Ambassador to Bishkek Ali Najafi called for expansion of all-out relations between the two nations. Sarpashev noted there are appropriate grounds for bilateral cooperation in various fields including the modern technologies, agriculture and construction of hydroelectric plants. Iranian investors are welcomed to Kyrgyzstan, he added. Iranian envoy, for his part, welcomed expansion of ties with Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstanˈs share is only dlrs 100 million out of dlrs 7 billion worth of Iran-Central Asia trade exchange and there are good potentials for increase of trade interactions between the two countriesˈ private sectors. end
