Labour minister visits elderly care home

Manama, Aug. 21 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, and Chairman of the National Committee for the Elderly, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali-Humaidan today visited National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Elderly Care Home in Isa Town to share Eid Al-Adha joy with the elderly there and spread happiness among them. Members of the National Committee for the Elderly, and officials from NBB and the Labour Ministry were also present. Huamaidan met the elderly there, and inquired about their health, living conditions and needs and wished them health and long life. The minister praised the key role played by NBB to support the government’s efforts to achieve sustainable development. He also commended the services provided by NBB’s Elderly Care Home for the elderly. The visits featured competitions and entertaining events, as well as folklore songs.
