Leaving Houses under Police’s Care’campaign

BANGKOK, Dec 25 (TNA) - The police on Sunday kicked off the “Leave Houses under Police’s Care" campaign to relieve worries of householders, leaving their homes during the New Year Holiday. Deputy national police chief Police General Chalermkiat Srivorakan on Sunday inspected the areas under the supervision of Choke Chai Police Station to follow up the progress of the campaign, which will run until January 3. So far, more than 200 households located within the responsibility of Choke Chai Police Station have joined the campaign. More are expected to participate later because they have more confidence in the programme with the police’s frequent patrols and inspections at their homes, left uninhabited while they are on long holidays. This year, the police will take photos of houses and send them via the Line application to householders, who join the campaign to facilitate communications between both sides.(TNA)
