Leyla Aliyeva attends event on festivities for children at orphanages and boarding schools

Baku, Azerbaijan, May 9 By Trend: The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has today organized festivities for children at orphanages and boarding schools on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Foundation. Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the festivities. Initiated by President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, the event gathered more than 200 children around the festive tables. Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva talked to children. The event featured concert programs and different quizzes for the children, who also had an opportunity to get acquainted with cartoon characters. The children were presented with gifts. Founded in 2004, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been contributing to the social and economic development of the country by implementing various projects in spheres such as education, public health, culture, sports, science, technology, and environment.
