Light your fire! Jedward twins get to chart of matter

Baku, April 12 (AzerTAc). X Factor stars Jedward are poised for chart success across Europe after their Eurovision single Waterline was released worldwide yesterday, according to starplus.ie. The twins entered the iTunes pop charts in Estonia, Sweden and Latvia just hours after release. Jedward soared to number 4 on iTunes in Estonia behind Gotye`s hit Somebody That I Used to Know, Flo Rida`s Wild Ones and Madonna`s Give Me All Your Lovin`. They also soared up Sweden`s charts to number 14 ahead of the Swedish Eurovision entry, Euphoria, sung by Loreen which was number 19. Jedward fans also came out to buy the single in Latvia where it rose to number 18 on iTunes while fans in Finland reported the single was being played on radio there. The track is not available in Germany and Austria until April 13 and date of release in the UK and France remains "to be confirmed". Waterline went to number 5 in the Irish charts after being released online only in February. The CD single was released on March 16 and it re-entered the top 10 at number 8. Their first Eurovision single, Lipstick, reached number 1 in Ireland during Eurovision week and became the second biggest selling single of the year here last year. The single also entered the top 20 charts in Austria, Germany, Sweden and other European countries. The track even reached the Top 10 in Korea last year. Former Eurovision winner Linda Martin, who is mentoring the twins this year, insists that the twins have been building up a fanbase across Europe all year. "They did a television show with an orchestra in Belarus with 18 million viewers," she said. "We forget there`s a big world out there. These countries are huge and the boys have been working extensively in them."
