Maersk Qatar Hosts Danish Business Delegation

Doha, February 01 (QNA) - Maersk Oil Qatar has shared an overview of its business activities in Qatar to a Danish trade delegation visiting Doha to coincide with the 24th Men's World Handball Championships. More than fifty Danish businesspeople attended the presentation by Maersk Oil Qatar, which highlighted its successful operations in Qatar over the past 20 years, its Qatarization programme and social investment schemes that are supporting Qatar’s economic and social development in line with its ambitious National Vision. Managing Director of Maersk Oil Qatar Lewis Affleck said: "Maersk operates in 130 countries but is headquartered in Denmark, so it was a pleasure to highlight our success in Qatar and the role Maersk is playing in the successful and responsible development of Qatar's largest offshore oilfield.
