Magic Skin owner faces more charges

BANGKOK, May 28 (TNA) - The police will press additional charges against the owner of Magic Skin Co and five others after examination results find the company’s products bear falsifying labels. National police deputy chief Pol Gen Weerachai Songmetta disclosed the examinations of food supplements, cosmetics and weight loss products of the company, saying the Food and Drug Administration found that the products bear falsifying labels and are considered as fake products. The police will press more charges against as Wannapha Phuangson, who owns Magic Skin Co and her husband, Korn Phungson and four others for conspiring in producing, supplying fake cosmetics and weigh loss products. They will be summoned to acknowledge charges soon. Meanwhile, today, the couple was summoned for questioning in allegedly producing and supplying substandard food supplements and weight loss products. If they fail to meet the investigators today, the second summon will be issued and their bail plea would be rejected. Regarding the seizure of the couple’s asset, the police are gathering evidence to seize their assets, including their 30 luxury cars. Any persons help them transfer the assets to conceal their wealth, they could face legal action for colluding in money laundering. (TNA)
