Malaysia A Perfect Place For Photographers To Boost Talents

KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will be a perfect place for photographers to boost their talents, skills and creativity, said Tourism Malaysia deputy director-general (Promotion), Azizan Noordin (left). He said Malaysia is a melting pot of races, cultures and traditions that could be a perfect haven for the keen photographer. "I would like to encourage all of you (photographers) to explore more of this beautiful country. "Those seeking history and culture can travel to Malacca, a UNESCO World Heritage site, while those seeking nature can travel to east Malaysian state Sabah, home of the majestic Mount Kinabalu or for unique architecture designs can go to Putrajaya, the Malaysia's federal administrative capital," he said in his opening remarks at the Travel Photographer Asia 2016 Exhibition here, Thursday. Meanwhile, TPA founder Ahsan Qureshi (right) said a total of 3,445 breathtaking entries were received from 90 different nationalities. "The TPA has provided a strong platform especially from amateur photographers to showcase their work and get recognition," he said.
