Malaysia Strongly Condemns Israeli Military Attacks On Gaza

PUTRAJAYA, July 23 (Bernama) -- Malaysia strongly condemns the continuous, atrocious attacks by the Israeli military on Gaza, and the bombardment of the city of Shejaia on July 20, and Al-Aqsa Hospital Monday. The attacks have claimed the innocent lives of more than 100 Palestinian civilians, including 17 children and 14 women, said the foreign ministry in a statement. It said that Malaysia therefore, called on the United Nations to take immediate action to halt Israel’s atrocities against the Palestinian people of Gaza and work towards bringing calm and peace between Israel and Palestine. “Israel’s ruthless military attacks on civilians are uncalled for, and are a crime against humanity,” added the statement. To date, incessant Israeli military attacks on Gaza have killed 576 civilians and injured more than 3,500 people, apart from destroying countless civilian homes and infrastructures. -- BERNAMA
