Maliki Welcomes The developments In The Relations Between Turkey and Iraq, Calls For a Fixed and Stable Relations Between The Two Countries

BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi Prime Minister, Nuri al - Maliki welcomed the developments at the level of relations between Iraq and Turkey, calling for fixed and stable bilateral relations between the two countries. Maliki said, during the meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, "Iraq wants good relations based on common interests, mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs with all countries of the world, especially neighboring countries." Maliki added: "The conditions of the region require cooperation, consultation and establish strong and solid bilateral relations base on cooperation in the region," according to a statement his office. Maliki welcomed the developments at the level of bilateral relations, saying that the two peoples have received these positive developments, calling for stable bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey. He continued: "We want relations between two equal States founded on solid and durable so that they remain continuously with changing officials and governments in the two States."
