Mali's President Calls for Building a World Characterized with Justice, Peace

Doha , June 09 (QNA) - Mali's President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita has called for supporting the efforts being exerted by the international community to build a world characterized with justice , peace and security through constructive dialogue between different religions and cultures. In a speech he delivered at the opening session of the U.S.-Islamic World Forum which began at the Ritz Carlton hotel earlier Monday , Keita singled out the terrorism phenomenon as a major threat to the world security. In this context, he demanded for intensifying effort of the world states and burying their differences in order to fight this scourge, saying that the Doha Forum embodied success of the inter-religious dialogue , cultures, tolerance, security and solidarity, which will lead to the global development . Mali's President stressed the necessity to continue efforts being made to build a world characterized with justice and peace in which the life and dignity of the human person is an intrinsic goal . Furthermore, President Boubacar Keita called for burying differences in order to fight terrorism and promote democratic values in the world, even states move further effectively in order to defeat the terrorists.(QNA)
